The Street Soul Players are Krystina Power on vocals and DJ Thaddeus on production. Both lovers of House Music they produce deliciously funky, old skool inspired House tracks. Their debut single "Drive Me Wild" is available soon on most digital download sites. Further tracks are in the pipeline.
Thaddeus met Krystina in early 2009 when she performed at the Essential Nightclub talent contest, which she won. Thaddeus was so impressed with her performance and the power and soulfulness of her voice that he approached her to see if she would be interested in recording vocals for some songs he had written.
Krystina Power is a natural performer and loves singing and gigging. Her performances are, as her name suggests, full of power and she puts her heart and soul into it when she is on stage.
A much in demand DJ, Thaddeus has been a regular billing on the House Club circuit since 1995 and plays a variety of styles from Funky House to Electro and club classics, for which he gained quite a reputation. The consistent theme in his sets is a crowd-pleasing, uplifting vibe with a funky, chunky edge and plenty of vocal; something you can shake ya booty to. Thaddeus is currently resident at Essential, Manchester.
