JC2 are Jerry Coughlin and Joshua Cole, both DJs and music producers. They met in 2000 on the vibrant Manchester club scene, quickly discovering a mutual admiration for many of the same artists, producers and House music labels such as Subliminal, Defected, AM:PM, Manifesto, Strictly Rhythm et al.

Joshua Cole is a producer and DJ who has been working in the music industry for more than ten years. A classically trained musician and pianist, his musical influences are wide and varied and encompass classical, disco, soul, funk and jazz.

Jerry Coughlin aka DJ Thaddeus has been DJing since the mid 90's and has graced the decks at venues such as the legendary Paradise Factory and Essential nightclubs.  He set up Retox Recordings in 2009.

As JC2 they have been busy in the studio writing and producing a diverse range of new tracks from soulful House to Electro.  Outside of House music they also collaborate on other music projects.  Their first collaboration on Retox Recordings is the forthcoming remix of the Joshua Cole & Alexis Hall fierce, soul-drenched track 'Your Lovin'.  Hot on it's six inch-high stiletto heels will be 'Keep This Feeling Strong', a JC2-penned original vocal.  In addition there are other vocal productions scheduled for release in the coming year.
